On August 1, 2022 the Commonwealth of Massachusetts enacted a new law, “Healthcare Provider Disclosure Obligations related to Scheduling Admissions, Procedures Services, or Making Referrals to another Provider.” This law states that all patients have the right to know what charges he/she will incur for services rendered.
