Northeast Allergy Asthma and Immunology Physicians Receive Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award in 2022
Northeast Allergy, Asthma and Immunology is proud to announce that four of our providers have been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in 2022. Every physician on our team who was eligible and nominated had the honor of receiving this award, including Jordan Scott, MD, David Riester, MD, Lauren Handelman, MD, and Whitney Dunlap, MD.

What is the Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award?
Each year, Castle Connolly publishes its list of Top Doctors on their website and in various print and online publications. Through peer-to-peer nominations and screening by Castle Connolly’s physician-led research team, those who receive the award are chosen to represent the best in their field.

Jordan Scott, MD
Dr. Scott formed Northeast Allergy in July 2006 and has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2015. He is board certified in Allergy and Immunology and takes pride in training future physicians. Dr. Scott is a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), the New England Allergy Society, and is a past President of the Massachusetts Allergy & Asthma Society.
David Riester, MD
Dr. Riester is a board-certified Allergist and Immunologist with over 15 years of experience and has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2018. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (FAAAAI) and a Fellow of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (FACAAI). He is a member of the New England Society of Allergy and the Massachusetts Allergy and Asthma Society.
Lauren Handelman, MD
Dr. Handelman has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2015. She maintains board certification in both Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Whitney Dunlap, MD
Dr. Dunlap has been a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2016. She completed her fellowship training in allergy and clinical immunology at the University of Michigan after concluding her residency at Brown University. She enjoys providing allergy and immunology care to children and adults and derives great satisfaction in working with her patients to achieve their health goals.
